NAAZ first vice president Walter Zimusi says they intend to send 12 athletes to the World Athletics Cross-Country Championships in the US on 10 January next year, set for Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. The team will be picked from top performers at the national cross-country trials, where leading distance runners are battling for places in the final squad and proudly represent Zimbabwe internationally.
